Helensburgh Toyota Sponsor the Helensburgh Cricket Club Junior Section

2011

We have an ever increasing Junior section at Helensburgh competing at both U11 in the WDCU B league and also U10 Kwik Cricket at various venues in the West of Scotland and it is our intention to be competing at U13 level from next season. Under the guidance of Coach Paul Davies assisted by many other members of the men's squad and junior players taking part in their D of E award scheme we continue to spread the word that cricket can be both fun and great for building team spirit as well as encouraging youngster to keep fit. We have had success in recent years with having representatives at both Clyde Sharks and West of Scotland Academy squads and it is our intention to encourage others to achieve this.

All information regarding times and contacts are on the website so we look forward to seeing more of you soon.

2008

Helensburgh CC are proud to have a long standing Junior Section that has been a fantastic source of emerging talent over the years.

This season the club will be running an Under 10 Kwik Cricket side and an Under 13 team in the Western District B division.

The club's own Kwik Cricket festival will be held on the 10th May.

Following the success of the last couple of years, it is hoped that a number of the older Juniors will be playing regularly in the Ardencaple XI where they certainly have not looked out of their depth.

The local representative side, Clyde Sharks, will be using Ardencaple for a couple of matches matches this year for the Under 13 & 15 sides.  Hopefully these sides will include a number Burgh players in their team.
